Love Is Fighting

Love Is Fighting, aka Patrick Murphy, formally RKID, began making a name for himself in New York City in 2001, playing in bands and DJing alongside the likes of The Strokes, Bjork, Iggy Pop and The Libertines, to name but a few.
Rooted in Rock n Roll with an affinity for Hip Hop, the progression to House/ Electronic music led to gigs at clubs like Caine, Rebel and Guest House. In 2008 he changed his name to Love Is Fighting and worked the Paris club scene before moving to Belgium, where he teamed up with long time buddy, Steve Slingeneyer (Soulwax), to wreck havoc, with a capital 'H', on the Ghent club scene.
Currently residing in Brooklyn, NYC, his sets and dance tracks have evolved:

Most notable new tracks that sum up his current direction are his unofficial mash-up/remix of Kanye West's 'I Am A God', featuring Jensen Interceptor, Jackson And His Computer Band, and Hoshina Anniversary, and the 'Against All Ends - edit', featuring Woo York and Fraxinus. In the works at the moment is a four track original dance EP, and series of edits and remixes called, 'The L.I.F.E. (Love Is Fighting Edits), as well bookingfs for a North American and European tour for Spring/Summer 2015
