Mad Audio Scientists is a series of compilations by various artists from all four corners around the globe. On Outerbass' voyage of self-discovery, we came across many artists, some from remote parts of the world, that were incredibly talented. However, due to their geographical location, they were mainly unheard of outside their own countries, despite their music being of world-class quality. It was like discovering a buried treasure when I first heard some of their tracks. So we decided we would help them share their music with the masses through a series of compilations, each one with a different theme. The first compilation in the series focused mainly on dance tunes. The 2nd in the series, was subtitled 'Soundscapes', and took the listener one small step off the dancefloor, and that bit closer to the chillout room. The 3rd volume will be subtitled 'The Scores', and will feature big, epic, film-scoresque tunes; the kind of tunes that might accompany cult films with lots of sex, violence, and explicit drug use!...oh yeah.
